Privacy Policy — Tahajjud Alarm

Tahajjud Alarm does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data. There is no account, no server, no analytics, and no advertising. Everything the app knows about you stays on your device.
What the app stores on your device

You can delete all of it at any time: Settings → Clear all data. Uninstalling the app removes it as well.
Permissions and why they are requested
- Approximate location (optional) — used only on your device to calculate prayer times. The app asks for approximate location rather than precise: prayer times shift by seconds over several kilometres, so precision would cost your privacy and buy nothing. You can skip this permission entirely and pick your city from an offline list instead.
- Notifications — to show the alarm, and any reminders you turn on.
- Alarms and reminders / exact alarms — to ring at the exact minute. This is the app's core function.
- Full-screen notifications — so the alarm screen can appear over the lock screen.
- Run at startup — to restore your alarm after the phone restarts.
- Foreground service — to keep the alarm sound playing while it rings.
- Vibration, wake lock — to vibrate and to wake the screen for the alarm.
- Do Not Disturb access (optional, off by default) — only if you turn on the bedtime Do Not Disturb option yourself. Your sound settings are never changed silently.
Internet
The app works fully offline. It has no server of its own. The only optional network use is Android's own reverse-geocoding, which turns coordinates into a place name when you tap "Use my location"; if there is no connection, the app simply shows the coordinates instead.
Children
The app is suitable for all ages and collects nothing from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be published at this address and the date above will change.
